How are you all? Today I will show you how to create your own profile on Upwork. Let's start without talking -

First go to www.upwork.com from your browser and click sign up. Then select freelance contractor (Browser may come up with different interfaces. No worries. I have used Google Chrome). You select contractor signup, fill out the form below and then continue. Now when the new page comes, click on Verify your email address and go to your email and see if there is a link. Now click on that link.

Click here to continue on the new page. Now click fill out contract information. A form will appear. Fill it out and save & continue. Now click on complete your upwork profile. Now when another page comes, select the jobs that you know from the Job category. (Click here) If you are new, select blog & article writing, data entry, personal assistant, email response handling, etc. If you want to select data entry professional from Primary Role at the bottom, you can. Select 1 or 2 in Desired Hourly Rate. Select how many hours per week you can spend on availability. Now type Internet, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus etc. in the Title. Now save & continue. Now click accept the Upwork user agreement. On the new page, tick the I Agree to the Terms & Condition button and click save & continue. My contractor profile has Title, Portrait, Personal Email etc. written in my account summary.

Enter your picture by clicking on My Portrait from the right side of Portrait. Doing so will complete 20 percent of your profile. The more complete the profile, the more jobs you will be able to apply in a week. Now go to Take the Upwork Readiness Test from UpWork Ready. Read the following articles carefully and click on Ready to take the test. Click Here

 

As a rule of thumb, you have to answer about 11 questions in 40 minutes. If all the answers to this question are correct, it will be written in your profile. If you fail, it will not be written. But you can give this test again and again.

 

After passing the exam, you can apply for 10 jobs per week. Now you go to My contractor profile. Add a new skill by clicking Add a skill. Those who are new can add facebook, twitter, ms office, powerpoint, article writing etc. Now it will be written in the profile that 30 percent of the work has been completed. Now in Add Employment History you can add any job you have done before. This may not be the case if you have an online job. If there is any job. The bottom line is, you have to fill that room. Don't worry if you don't have job experience. Click on My Public Profile below and add your Years of Experience by editing the new page. You can share any of your work experience here. Go to the English option and write how you know English. Here you can pay according to the dimensions. 1 to 5. (Click here) Enter the object of your work from Objective below. If you do not understand what to write, then click on Example below. You can see the example from there. The profile will be beautiful if you write what is all given. If you know any programming language, you can say it here. If you do not know all this, write how long you have been using Facebook, Internet. How fast you can type is also a huge issue. Many cannot type fast. Now your profile will increase by 10 percent.

Now click on Education and write your educational qualifications. If you have done any work in Portfolio Objectives before, write it down. If you have no work experience, create a blog or WordPress site directly. Post there. Then give the link here. (click here) This will make your profile heavier. This will increase the chances of getting a job. In Others Experience, if you have a YouTube channel or a Facebook page, you can talk about it. And if there is nothing, there is no problem. It is not necessary to fill it.

Certifications do not have to be anything. Now see that the scope of your profile has increased. If you want to increase the scope, go to www.upwork.com/tests and take some more tests. This will increase your experience as your profile becomes heavier. Remember, no education in this world is in vain. You will need any work at any end of life. Now when you give some more tests, you will be able to apply for a job like 20 hours a week. Basic English Test, Ms word test, English Spelling test, Windows XP Test are very easy. (click here) By giving these you will easily get good marks. Giving the test depends on your will. No one will force you. However, we all know that the more certificates you have, the higher the price.

 

You can change all of the above settings as often as you want. Edit Profile is written next to where you want to change. Even if you can't find it, there is no problem. If you click Find Work directly, you will find everything on the right. Clicking here will change everything again and again.
